Unsolved WWII pigeon message

In late 2012, an encrypted message was discovered on a dead pigeon with a message dating from World War II. The message was likely originally destined for Bletchley Park.

Some people jokingly say that the first two words of the enciphered message were most likely "Dear Santa," but that's only because the message was found in a chimney.

The message remains unsolved. Some GCHQ experts believe it might be a one-time pad.
